1. The Promise

First in my "Cycles of the Unconscious" series. It is an aquatint with a bit of little drypoint thrown in for good measure. I used ferric chloride to etch the copper plate, using rosin, asphaltum, and spray paint to stop the acid. I inked it with waterbased intaglio inks.
