This is just oil on canvas. I used no mediums and did the entire thing with a palette knife. Andrea graduated from my college last year and comissioned this for a graduation gift for herself. Andrea is a very visually disciplined person. She's a graphic designer at work and at home. I took the cue from her personality to use only one texture and kept my colors strictly separated in hopes of recreating her visual discipline as well as her portrait.
